Off again!

Well, I know I'm terribly inconsistent both about posting on here and checking my friends blogs, but I DID remember this evening and decided to let you know what's going on. (If anyone actually reads this.) I've been quite busy with school: Algebra II, Geography and much, much more. In my free time I've been mostly drawing, reading, writing, playing guitar, violin, or piano, and reading God's wonderful word. I was touched last night at how much He has blessed me, and how ungrateful, selfish, and thoroughly unloving I am in return. I have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor (for those of you who don't know me or spend much time around me) and it's easy for me to make sarcastic remarks toward people with the only intention of being funny, and yet looking back now, I wonder how many times my thoughtless remarks have stung, or really hurt people. I want to say now, if I've said things in the past to hurt or offend you, I was probably un-aware of it at the time, but I still send my deepest and most humble apologies to you.
Now I would like to ask for your prayers this weekend as my Mom and two sisters are traveling to Missouri to see my sister and her family and some friends of ours. It's going to be a packed weekend! At the end of it we're going to be bringing our friend, Bethany, home with us for a few weeks, so as you may imagine we're all rather psyched about that! Prayers are much appreciated!

  1. So true about how God has blessed us. One of the annoying things about being fallen human beings is that we ALL are ungrateful. I've been thinking about that as well, and how we have such wonderful lives, and yet it is so easy to forget how blessed we truly are. Sometimes I think about how God has placed me in America, when I could have been born in Communist China. I've been given a great family, when I could've been one of the many kids from broken homes. Little things like that are amazing.

Hope you had a blast on your trip!!

See ya in a couple of days!
